May 2024 Walks

Relaxed Walk - Wednesday 15th May 2pm

It’s 2pm Meeting at the entrance to Tesco’s Car Park then walking up Ladcastle Road past the Golf Club and on down into Uppermill.

Stopping for refreshments at Kobe and walking back along the canal towpath.

The route is all on roads or paths. A few hills along the way too.

Big Walk – Thursday 23rd May 10:30am

Daisy Nook to Park Bridge

Meeting at Daisy Nook Country Park Visitor Centre, Stannybrook Rd, M35 9WJ.

(Cafe and toilet facilities here)

Walking through country park to Oldham Rd and across towards Park Bridge then return by a slightly different route (depending on muddy paths etc ) back to Daisy Nook.
